关于新冠肺炎疫情期间部分出国留学人员赴境外就学困难的招生录取简章(本科生)
经教育部批准,为更好发挥中外(含内地与港澳台)合作办学机构的作用,为申请境外学习但因疫情未能成行的中国内地学生提供继续深造的机会,我校现为符合条件的出国留学人员提供在国内就读的途径,具体招生录取实施方案如下:
一、 招生性质

办学性质: 中外(含内地与港澳台)合作院校。内地:北京师范大学,香港:香港浸会大学。学校是经教育部批准,内地与香港携手成立的以高质量教学为主的博雅型大学。学校在课程设置上经由香港浸会大学批准,在教育质量上接受香港浸会大学的指导、评估和监督,在教学上实行全英文授课。

招生对象:凡已获得境外大学录取通知书,原计划于2020年秋入读境外本科的中国内地学生均符合基本报名条件。
颁发证书:招录学生应放弃原留学资格,在本校进行注册,同时我校报教育部中外合作办学学生注册系统中注册,学生毕业达到学位标准和完成学业要求者将获颁发国际认可的香港浸会大学学士学位证书(可在教育部留学服务中心获得认证)。
二、 招生专业
我校2020年按专业大类加专业的方式进行招生,招生方式如下:
注:按大类招生入读的新生,将在第一学年第一学期第十周前最后确认专业分流。各学部专业分流评审小组,将从个人意愿、个人能力、学业成绩、个人作品集、个人陈述、小组面试、老师评价七项标准中,挑选若干项作为本招生大类专业分流的选拔标准。数学与应用数学、音乐表演专业为2020年新增专业。
三、报名方式
1、报名资格
持有境外大学录取通知书,原计划就读境外本科的中国内地高中毕业生,均可报名。
2、报名日期
即日起至2020年9月21日
3、申请材料
即日起至2020年9月21日,符合招生对象要求的考生,将以下材料提交至学校招生办公室:
① 填写入学申请表、中英文个人陈述;
② 身份证复印件(身份证正反面复印到同一张A4纸上);
③ 高中毕业证书复印件、高中成绩单(须加盖学校公章);
④ 境外大学本科录取通知书复印件,雅思、托福或其他外语考试成绩复印件;
⑤ GCE A-Level / IB / SAT / AP / ACT等公开考试成绩证明(如有)、获奖证书复印件(如有)、推荐信(如有)。
备注:以上①-④项材料为必要材料,第⑤项是可选的。

四、选拔程序及录取标准
1.学校招生委员会对考生材料进行资格审查。通过申请材料审核的考生,学校将通过电话或电邮的方式通知安排面试。
2.9月23日,考生参加学校全英文面试。面试前,考生须提供个人有效身份证、高中毕业证书、高中成绩、境外大学本科录取通知书、雅思、托福或其他外语考试成绩单、获奖证书等原件备核。
3.学校招生工作遵循“公平竞争、公正选拔、公开程序,德智体美劳全面考核、综合评估、择优录取”的原则。学校将对申请者的原录取大学世界排名、高中学业成绩、UIC入学面试成绩等进行综合评估,择优录取,并把符合录取资格的考生名单报给广东省教育厅进行备案。
通过本方案招收的学生,入学后的教学计划、学习资源、收费规定和管理安排等将由学校统一安排。
学校录取考生的体检标准及新生入学身体检查标准按照教育部、卫生部、中国残疾人联合会颁布的《普通高等学校招生体检工作指导意见》和《教育部办公厅 卫生部办公厅关于普通高等学校招生学生入学身体检查取消乙肝项目检测有关问题的通知》的有关规定执行。新生入学身体健康状况复查不符合体检要求或不宜就读已录取专业者,按有关学籍管理规定办理,予以转专业或取消入学资格。
考生应对其提供的信息负责。若发现作假的行为,一经查实,立即取消相关学生的录取资格。
五、收费标准
1、学费标准
普通类招生专业学费:每生每学年九万元人民币
音乐表演专业学费:每生每学年十万八千元人民币
2、住宿费
两人间:6400元/生·学年
三人间:4000元/生·学年
四人间:3500元/生·学年
如上级部门颁布新房型的收费标准,则按新标准执行,收费细则详见学校网站。

北师港浸大(英文名字BNU-HKBU United International College, 缩写为UIC)于2005年诞生于美丽的珠海,在创校校长吴清辉教授的带领下走过了十五年的办学历史。今年我荣幸地接棒成为这所新型大学的第二任校长,并很高兴地看到UIC拥有漂亮的校园、先进的设施和专业的师资,这些为我们的博雅教育打下了坚实基础。

UIC 10-Year Research Collection
Awards for academic excellence during the 2016-2017 academic year were granted to 530 UIC students during the presentation ceremony on 20 December. There were 17 different types of scholarships presented, amounting to approximately 6.3 million yuan.
President of UIC, Prof Ng Ching-Fai, gave a speech to start the presentation ceremony. “When you are achieving excellent academic performance, do not forget to have a higher pursuit, and also make social contributions,” said Prof Ng. He encouraged students to be well-rounded citizens who can think actively and take responsibility. He also gave praise to the contributions from all staff that work hard to provide students with high-quality learning resources and improved learning environments.
Year Four TESL (Teaching English as a Second Language) student, Feng Zeyu, received the First Class Award and the National Scholarship. She spoke as a representative for all the students awarded scholarships. She expressed her gratitude to her friends, family and teachers at UIC, and hoped that all the students can maintain their excellent performance.
Year Two CTV (Cinema and Television) student, Chan Ka-Hei, was awarded a renewal of her HK School Principal Nomination Bursary as well as the Mr and Mrs Cutrupia Scholarship. She said that the campus life at UIC helped her to broaden her horizons and extend her social circle.
Five foreign students received the Guangdong Government Outstanding Foreign Student Scholarship. Additionally, this year seven students renewed their Full Entrance Scholarship thanks to their continued excellent performance.
The First Class Award was received by 95 students and the Second Class Award was received by 293 students. In addition to five students winning the China Unicom Scholarship, four received the Mr and Mrs Cutrupia Scholarship.
This year, UIC set up two new scholarships: the UIC Hand in Hand Bursary and the Huaxin Scholarship. The UIC Hand in Hand Bursary is donated by alumni and aims at offering support and care to a student whose family is suffering from financial difficulties. The Huaxin Scholarship rewards freshmen who have achieved high scores on the National College Entrance Examination, with the receiver getting a 40,000 RMB deduction in their first year.

Newly-appointed Chairman of Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) Council, Dr Clement C.J. Chen, SBS, JP, led the Council and staff members to visit UIC on 14 May.
For his first visit, Dr Clement Chen was impressed by UIC’s favourable campus, heaping praise on its environment and state-of-the-art facilities.
Further learning about its international-oriented whole-person philosophy, Dr Chen hoped UIC and HKBU enhance academic cooperation and exchange in the future.

The guests took advantage of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge to reach UIC. When they arrived, they were warmly received by UIC President Prof Tang Tao, Vice Presidents Prof Chen Zhi and Prof Zhang Cong, Associate Vice President Prof George Wei and the Deans of the four Divisions.
After a brief discussion at the Council Chamber, the guests toured the University Hall, the Performance Theatre, the Learning Resource Centre, the Sports Complex and the student hostels.

In the Whole Person Education Experiential Learning Base, UIC students and staff showcased ceramics, shedao (Chinese archery), guqin in addition to yayue (Chinese court music).
Other highlights featured the visitors meeting with the students from various programmes and years. When asked about their experience at UIC, the students confidently presented their thoughts and ideas in fluent English.
